5 Trading Forums Brokers Need To Know About

Welcome to another week of trading! In today’s article, we’re going to look at 5 trading forums brokers need to know about. We’ll also go over the key events to look out for this week — which really won’t take long!

#1 Forex Peace Army (FPA)

A different kettle of fish to the other forums on this list, as you’ll soon see. is not your regular user-generated content forum. The primary purpose of the forum is as a rating/review site for brokers.

Having been in operation since 2005, the site boasts that it has “the largest collection of forex broker reviews”. It’s powerful, too, with the fortunes of many forex brokers resting on the reviews that are present on the site.

The forum is also a bit of a contentious one. But that could be because the site owner refuses to remove bad reviews. Even when threatened by brokers . True story.

#2 BitcoinTalk

If you’re a crypto trader (especially Bitcoin traders) in search of a trading forum, look no further than .

This forum was created at the inception of cryptocurrency by none other than the mysterious Bitcoin creator, Satoshi Nakamoto. It’s considered the primary source of information on the token and, as such, is a must-bookmark for all crypto enthusiasts.

With over 2 million registered accounts, the community is extremely large and very active. If you head there you’ll find all kinds of crypto-related discussions, e.g. mining, the development of blockchain projects, the main market trends, and much more.

Most of the forum’s content is in English, but there are also a few sections that cater to speakers of other languages. It also has a specific section for new traders which is great.

#3 Forex Factory

has long been one of the leading online forums for , you guessed it, forex traders!

The forum has been around since 2004, and as a result, has a mighty user base and a fantastic reputation.

Now, we’re going to be honest , if you’re a noob trader, Forex Factory’s look might put you off a bit. It certainly seems like it hasn’t had much of a makeover since 2004. But don’t let that fool you. There’s a huge amount to dig into here.

There are nine sub-forums, covering topics including Interactive Trading, Trading Systems, Trading Discussion, Platform Tech, Broker Discussion, Trading Journals, Rookie Talk, Commodities and Stocks, and Commercial Content.

#4 Babypips

We love this one. Babypips is one of the leading educational resources in trading, aiming specifically at beginner traders. Because of that, its forum is packed with interesting discussions and further learning for traders.

The forum features dedicated sections for different trading disciplines, e.g. fundamental and technical analysis, and automated trading.

It’s a cool place to get some further knowledge on almost any aspect of trading and is a real hit with noob traders.

#5 Reddit

While not strictly a trading forum, Reddit has LOADS of trading boards that are incredibly popular. Reddit is easily accessible, simple to use and has a massive user base.

r/stockmarket has 1.7m members; r/cryptocurrency has 3.2m members; and r/investing has 1.9m members — to name just a few.

These boards, while popular, are nothing compared to the most notorious trading board on Reddit — r/wallstreetbets. Which you may have heard of…

This board has 10.7m members and they’re so great in number that they have the power to move markets. Responsible for starting the craze of so-called “Meme Stocks”, these dedicated pushed the price of fallen gaming retail giant Gamestop through the roof in January this year.

The push was based on nothing but thin air and pure speculation, but impacted the stock market in unimaginable ways, driving GME stock up 1,642% in just 2 weeks.
